Rachael Tabet

Rachel Tabet was born in Sahel Alma, Lebanon in 1987. A big part of Rachel's childhood memories go back to the time spent at her mother's hometown in the South of Lebanon called 'Ayshiyeh' and her grand mother's house in Sin EL Fil.

She graduated from College Notre Dame Sahel Alma in 2005. She is about to start her second year in Psychology studies at the Lebanese University and her first year as a photography student at the Holy Spirit University in Kaslik.

"Got Balls & Cannonball"

Whether they survived it or not, kids were the real victims of this war. Things shouldn't be like this. They don't have to grow up with the constant fear of losing their life, their parents or houses simply because they live in a certain area. They don't have to be brave and tough.

A toy as universal as a ball seemed to have a whole other meaning in these two captured moments that I chose.
