"Breath"

Violence in its ugliness

Violence (one-way mirror of power) reflects its presence through different facets: social, political, psychological and economical. The nature of this focal point is egocentric, narcissistic, and autistic as it ruptures with its own environment and draws its strength and weakness, at the expense of others, through the application of the law of the strongest.

My installation underlies a metaphorical image of the stake of war and its power. The duality of the stake and the power is similar to an iron fist in a velvety glove.   A power that weaves its plot on the fate of humanity and a war that frays it.

The metaphorical dimension of the human body represented by the transparent box and the plucked feathers create forcefully a symbolic narration of the psychological and physical pain.
