"Carte Postal" & "Some News"

Summer 2006. It was not easy to put some distance with what we were living and experiencing on daily basis. How can someone translate the ugliness of a reality into beauty of art? Was it self-preservation, instinct of survival, not to give in to all the madness that surrounded us?

Presented in this exhibit is a series of postcards sent to friends abroad during the summer 2006 war, similar to what we usually do on vacations to share thoughts and feelings about experiences lived. Also included is a 3-page letter/journal.
