Artist Bio
Anibal Padrino is an artist of international renown and a wonderful
human being... he currently works and resides in New York City.
Born in the early 70's in the South Bronx, he spent his formative
years drawing in black books and making money-painting hats for
classmates... His early interests in art can be traced back to violent
cartoons and neighborhood walls articulated by spray-paint masterpieces
and crude ciphers... After completing a half semester of academic
training at the School of Visual Arts he returned to his artistic
native tongue...He continues to play with the realms of languages
and their visual counterparts in images...His hobbies include chess,
water polo, and class warfare...
