Artist Statement
Our need for man-made light has increased throughout the years
to the extent that it made it essential for our own existence. We
are spending more and more time in artificial light. Some places
are lit 24 hours/day, and it’s a matter of time before further
areas will be covered by light incessantly; the natural and artificial
light taking shifts.
Eventually the notion of artificial light will become ordinary.
It is up to us to make a better light. A natural light.
